FATE ® Fashion And Textiles Education is a resource, created to support the study of clothing, costuming and textiles. The mission of FATE is to offer practical hands on education, exhibitions and to facilitate academic research focusing on clothing and textiles. FATE archive is used by fashion brands, feature film, TV, Theatre, performing arts industries, individual students and universities. FATE champions awareness of clothing and textiles as material culture and applied art forms reflective of ethnographic diversity. The archive predates the eighteenth century and continues into the twenty-first century.
